Sam Nacht:
Having studied several instruments both formally and self-taught, in ’99 Sam narrowed it down to the tenor saxophone, taking private lessons with Juan Ignacio Caino, Luis Nacht (no relation) and eventually Evan Parker...

Leo Bettinelli, starting from improvisation and the use of objects and unconventional instruments, he delved into a world of sound of practically endless possibilities, nearing the musical subconscious, which he then incorporated into his life, both as a performer as well as the organizer of several series of experimental music concerts in different venues in Buenos Aires and Barcelona, where renowned musicians both from the local and international scene were invited to participate...

Recent work of the Ukrainian band. EP includes three songs connected by one idea, the general sound and emotion. The main genre is a synthpop, which in conjunction with a gentle female voice, creates a charming atmosphere of love, emotion and intimacy.
Gosprom are a Ukrainian electropop band made up of singer Marianna Diakova, keyboardist, writer and producer Dima Sysoev and guitarist Alex Popelnuh.
Over the last year they switched from trip-hop, acid jazz and dj scratches to synthpop with electronic synthesizers and guitars.

Medicine is Marc Broude's second album in the ambient genre. With expansive and enigmatic atmosphere through layers of sonic exhortation, articulation is placed on Marc's psychological or emotional state in the music-making process as opposed to the inspiration in which he seeks.

ca454 - Bosques de mi Mente - Colores [01 Jul 2011|02:52pm]

Artist: Bosques de mi Mente
Title: Colores
#ca454
Date: 2011-06-30

Colores is the result of a process of experimentation that started after the release of “Inocencia” back in 2009. I decided then to experiment with toy instruments and keyboards, many of them bent or modified to alter their sound or to generate noise. I decided also to explore the posibilities of the voice and vocal harmonies, wordless sounds and chants used as another instrument, not to transmit a message. “Colores” is nothing but a simple album half-way between indie and electronic, easy listening and experimental music, past and future. The graphic design is the work of Juls Gars Menta, who added the collage of paintings and figures to the wonderful photographs of Antonio R. I am in debt with both for their collaboration in the project, and for making “Colores” a reality.

It´s not easy to express the music of Studebaker´s Blacksmith Shop. It is music in his simplicity, clarity and intensity, but the most important thing is the uniqueness and the audibility of the songs. "Excuse me, are you sick?!" is the first concept-album of the band. An inwardly lost person´s way of a prospected depression is depicted (Alone).

The musicians are:
Kerstin Dietl (vocals/guitar/piano/songwriting),
Alex Dübell (guitar/synth/piano/lyrics/songwriting)
Joe Kirsch (bass/piano/ideas)

ca448 - Fake Plastic Heads - keeping an eye on the ones who deserve it [09 Jun 2011|11:10am]

This album was recorded from early 2005 to 2006, collecting and gathering various states of mind and giving this journey one particular look and feel. Like all journeys, this album has its ups and downs, creating a unique universe that some individuals might be able to build a connection to. Being on the darker side of life, with all senses as sharp as knives, the album itself might be regarded as a companion - the one who is always there by your side; never giving up and still hoping to reduce the impact of suffering.

Fake Plastic Heads is the solo-project of multimedia artist and graphic designer Charles S. Kuzmanovic.
